Make Paper Buildings for Your Layout (NMRA Presentation)
This paper is a summary of a presentation by MVRRHS member Wally Venable at the NMRA Division 2 Meeting hosted by Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society on 17 March 2024.
It is a discussion of how paper buildings can be made and modified from existing books or downloaded images using common graphics software, a desktop scanner and a cheap inkjet printer. In addition, the paper contains several structures which may be printed and assembled directly from the .PDF file. These ready to print buildings include a simple Company House in O, HO, and N scales, a one-room schoolhouse in HO, and a Company Store in N along with scale rules in O, HO and N.
There is a list of 17 Cut-And-Assemble Books which may be found as used books and several links to on-line resources.
