Located near Center Court

Whether you visited us at our former location Downtown or have never been to see us before, we’d love to have you!

Admission

FREE!

Absolutely 100% free! No charge! We welcome adults, children, families, and groups of all ages to come enjoy our historical society for free during our normal hours! If you are interested in bringing your group to our our society, please reference the “Group Admission” section below.

Hours

We are open every Thursday evening from around 6:30pm to 8:30pm, excluding major holidays. While we welcome visitors to our historical society every Thursday, please note that the first Thursday of each month is our regularly scheduled business meeting. Activities may be limited and members may not be available for tours. Most other Thursdays you will see our layouts being worked on or operated, in addition to our normal interpretive displays & exhibits.

Open Houses

Approximately 4-5 times a year we host public open houses. Our open houses are 1-2 day events where we invite the public to come enjoy our layouts, displays, and exhibits for extended periods of time. Throughout the day at each open house you will be able to meet many of our members, ask questions about the layouts, shop for used railroading items and memorabilia, and so much more! Visit our events page to see when our next Open House is!

Group Admission

Have a group that would like to visit us but cannot make it during our normal hours or open houses? We’d still love to have you!

School Groups, Scout Groups, and other Non-Profits: Please request a visit no less than 14 days in advance. Please use our contact form and select “Group Visits.” There is no charge for this type of group, although availability may be limited due to volunteer time constraints.

Tour Groups: Please request a visit no less than 30 days in advance. Visits requested with less notice may still be possible, but we cannot guarantee availability due to volunteer time constraints. Please use our contact form and select “Group Visits.” For commercial and non-commercial (but not non-profit) tour groups, we require a $50 donation for up to 56 guests, plus tour leader and motorcoach driver if applicable.
